Campfire night. With sparks.

My girls glowing, with others.

20080710 Sunset

Sunset 7/10 was beautiful

Sunset, to the West and South

Marred by a leftover Millfoil Removal Pontoon
Boat, moored just in view off the end of the dock.
A lovely reminder of the THREE that are right
out there all day long with their air pumps
and their salvage pumps throbbing away hour
after hour.

Sunset 7/9/08

Looking North toward the town of
Skaneateles, sunset 7/9/08

After a couple of sweltering days, 7/10
dawns WINDY and very clear and cool.

7/10. Afternoon. Still Windy.

20080708 Skaneateles

The "Mail Boat" delivers doughnuts!
(If you jump through hoops to make it happen)

The owner of our rental has a guard goose.
That's Rick and Abagail.

20080630 An ex-stump

Once upon a time, there was a lovely flowering
crabapple tree in the front yard. But it died.

So I had to dig it up. I dug a hole.

A large hole. For comparison, here I am standing
in said aforementioned hole.
The hole is big.
The hole is deep.
The back is aching.

Ok, so I was on my knees in the hole, but to
give you some idea of the size of the stump,
it measures approximately 37 feet in diameter,
is 156 cubits long, and it weighs more than
an elephant.

A very large elephant.

20080629 Birthday Birhouse

Assembled and put up. You can just see her sister's
hung on the other side of the tree
