20090708 Skaneateles Day 5 Sunset

While it rained off and on, was sunny off and on, the sunset was cloud free. But the flying bugs were freaking EVERYWHERE.

Someone out in the evening for a paddle

Lines join in faint discord
And the stormwatch brews
A concert of kings as the white sea snaps
At the heels of soft prayer
Whispered

Today is supposed to be Tstorms followed by Tstorms, with ocasional scattered Tstorms

20090704 Skaneateles Fireworks

No fewer than 9 residents around this little lake spent a fortune on fireworks, illegal to set off, and put on a show from next door, across the lake, up and down both sides of this 25 mile long, 1 mile wide lake.

These are hand held, but it lends to artistic interpretation.
